Tour summary
The journey takes almost 2 hours drive which covered approximately 112km by-passing through the countryside, small towns and fruit stalls towards the rural district of Beaufort, where Klias river is located.
Upon arrival at Klias basecamp, the afternoon hi tea will be serve. Then you will proceed to enjoy the nature on the 1st rivercruise to see the proboscis monkeys and other wildlife.
Once you finish the cruise, the Malaysian buffet dinner will be prepared to fill your appetites.
And lastly, before going back to the city, you will experience a magical ambience of the flickering fireflies during your second cruise along the river.

The Experience
Klias Wetland cover an area 130,000 hectares of mangroves swamp which are important because it's the habitat for the protected species of the Proboscis Monkey which also knows in the name as Nasalis Larvatus. They are endemic in Borneo which means that this species only can be found in the coastal area of Borneo. Not only that, during the cruise, you not only can see Proboscis Monkey, Longtail Macaque but also the other wildlife such as Silvered Leaf, Hornbills, etc.

Arrive at Klias jetty base. Hi Tea (Refreshment) will be serve upon arrival. And you can use the washroom before 1st rivercruise starts.

1st rivercruise start to see proboscis monkeys and other wildlife such as silver leaf monkey, giant lizard, crocodile, hornbill, etc. The boat departure time depends on situation at jetty with the process or boarding the boat, etc.

Malaysian buffet dinner is served.

2nd boat cruise to see the mesmerising and twinkling fireflies
